PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION NOTICE
Pentas Flora Group of Companies (hereinafter referred to as “Pentas Flora Group” and any reference to “we”, “us”, “our” or “Company” shall include any member of the Pentas Flora Group) respects and is committed to the protection of your personal data and your privacy. This Personal Data Protection Notice (“Notice”) explains how Pentas Flora Group collects and processes your personal data in accordance with
the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore (“PDPA”).
By providing us with your personal data, continuing to communicate with us, or by using our website https://pentasflora.com.sg (“Website”), we shall regard that you have consented to the processing of such data in accordance with this Notice.
Pentas Flora Group shall have the right to modify, update or amend the terms of this Notice at any time by placing the updated Notice on the website. By continuing to communicate with us following the modifications, updates or amendments to this Notice, this shall signify your acceptance of such modifications, updates or amendments.
1. Type of Personal Data
(a) Personal data refers to any data and/or information about an individual who can be identified either (i) from that data; or (ii) from that data and other information to which we have or are likely to have access.
(b) Some examples of your personal data which we may collect from you include, but is not limited to your name, identity card number, passport number, contact details (such as correspondences address, phone number, email address), date of birth, gender, citizenship, employment history, educational background, marital status, financial and banking account details, and any other personal information voluntarily provided by you for the relevant purpose(s).
2. Collection of Personal Data
We may collect personal data when you or your authorized representatives (i.e. persons whom you have authorised, persons who have been validly identified as being you or your authorised representative) interact with us through various means, including but not limited to:
(a) Use of our websites;
(b) Our forms whether in electronic or hardcopy format;
(c) Your participation in any events and/or programs organized by us;
(d) Agreements that you have signed;
(e) Any correspondences that we have received from you requesting for information or making any inquiries or providing feedback to us;
(f) Business cards or other information you have provided to us; and/ or
(g) Information obtained independently by us from other lawful sources.
3. Purpose for Collection of Personal Data
The collection and processing of your personal data includes but not limited to the following purposes (“the Purposes”):
(a) To delivery of notices, services or products and the marketing of such services or products whether present or future, to you;
(b) In order for you to enter into the necessary agreement and/or contract to purchase the products and/or services from us;
(c) For the maintenance and upkeep of customer records and development
(d) To facilitate your participation and our administration in any events, programs, trainings, workshops, seminars, surveys and all other events organized by us;
(e) Those purposes specifically provided for in any particular service or product offered by us or our partners;

(l) Prevention of crime (including but not limited to fraud and money-laundering);
(m) Compliance with any legal or regulatory requirements relating to our provision of services and products and to make disclosure under the requirements of any applicable law, regulation, direction, court order, by-law, guideline, circular, code applicable to us or any member companies of Pentas
Flora Group; and/or
(n) For any other purposes that is incidental or ancillary or in furtherance to Pentas Flora Group’s purposes.
4. Disclosure of Personal Data
Generally, we will keep the personal data provided to us as confidential. Nevertheless, you consent to the following disclosures of the personal data by us to the following third parties for reasons relating to the Purposes:
(a) our associated, subsidiary, related companies of the Company;
(b) our business partners including online business affiliates, retailers, distributors, agents, merchant that provide, supply, distribute or deal in general with our services or products in connection with our business and in relation to our loyalty programs and other programs;
(c) our auditors, engineers, quantity surveyors, land surveyors, business consultants, accountants, lawyers or other professional advisers and/or consultants as we deem necessary and appropriate;
(d) our sub-contractors or third party service or product providers as we deem necessary or appropriate, including third party property management or marketing companies or entities; and/or
(e) any person to whom we are compelled to or required under law or in response to a local or state or federal authority, industry regulator, enforcement agency, statutory authority, court of laws, tribunal, arbitration centre, commission or council or association legally authorized by law.
5. Retention of Personal Data
(a) We may retain your personal data for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required or permitted by applicable laws.
(b) We will cease to retain your personal data, or remove the means by which the data can be associated with you, as soon as it is reasonable to assume that such retention no longer serves the purpose for which the personal data was collected, and is no longer necessary for legal or business purposes.
6. Processing and Transfer of Personal Data
(a) We have collected and/or will collect your personal data to be processed by us and/or on our behalf in the course of your present and/or future dealings with us.
(b) If we are required to share any of your personal data to any member of Pentas Flora Group, our affiliates, associated companies, vendors, professional advisers and/or third parties within or outside of Singapore, we will take all reasonable steps to ensure adequate protection of such personal data and that such transfers comply with the PDPA or the requirements of applicable data protection laws. We will also take reasonable steps to ensure that third parties acknowledge the confidentiality of your personal data and undertake to comply with the Act (or the requirements of the applicable data protection laws) and this Notice.
7. Websites
(a) Content in any website of the Pentas Flora Group (https://pentasflora.com.sg) may include links to third party websites. Pentas Flora Group is not responsible for the content on such linked third party websites and users should observe the separate privacy policies applicable to the respective third parties website.
(b) Pentas Flora Group may collect information about your visits to Pentas Flora Websites without you actively submitting such information. Unidentifiable information may be collected using various technologies, such as cookies, and web beacons. Cookies are small text files that are transferred to your computer’s hard disk by a website. Web beacons (also referred to as GIF files, pixels or Internet tags) help Pentas Flora Group recognise a unique cookie on your browser. Your internet browser automatically transmits to Pentas Flora Group some of this unidentifiable information, such as the URL of the web site you just visited and the browser version your computer is operating.
8. Accuracy of Personal Data
You shall ensure that the personal data submitted to us is accurate, not misleading and updated in all aspects in order for us to process your personal data for the Purposes stated in above. Further, we may request your assistance to procure the consent of third parties whose personal data is made available by you to us and you hereby agree to use your best endeavours to do so.
9. Withdrawal of Consent
(a) The consent that you provide for the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data will remain valid until such time it is being withdrawn by you or your authorised representative in writing.
(b) Whilst we respect your decision to withdraw your consent, please note that depending on the nature and scope of your request, we may not be in a position to continue providing our services to you.
10. Access and Correction of Personal Data
You have the right to:
(a) check whether we hold or use the personal data and request access to the same;
(b) request that we correct any of the personal data that is inaccurate, incomplete or out-of-date;
(c) communicate to us your objection to the use of the personal data for marketing purposes; and/or
(d) withdraw, in full or in part, your consent, subject to any applicable legal restrictions, contractual conditions and reasonable time period.
